No matter the dish, mangoes taste best when they are perfectly ripe. Try to use the mangoes you bought during the peak season to get the most out of their tart, tropical, almost floral flavor – no matter how you are serving them up.

Mouthwatering Mango Recipe Roundup

  1. Mango Margarita Mango margaritas are a super easy recipe to make and perfect for celebratory events. I love to make these mango cocktails with tequila shots as a refreshing summer drink. It’s an island getaway in a glass. 😎 Of course, this recipe is still a margarita, so there’s plenty of lime in it, too. That means this drink goes great with just about any dish with lemon or lime in it – think chicken, seafood, and even beef! My favorite pairings are mango margaritas with carne asada and pico de gallo or shrimp ceviche. You can freeze mango margaritas for up to 6 months. You can even pull the margaritas straight out of the freezer and serve frozen mango margaritas – so easy! If you prefer your mango margaritas on the rocks, store the mix in an airtight container for up to a week and then serve over ice when ready.
  2. Mango Chutney Mango chutney is the perfect condiment for pork chops, chicken, fish, shrimp, and sandwiches, and it’s also an impressive dip. Sweet, spicy, and acidic – this chutney is as complex as beautiful. I love to serve this mango chutney recipe with smoked pork chops, grilled shrimp kabobs, or marinated grilled chicken breast. It’s also a delight with homemade tortilla chips. 🤤 You can store mango chutney in an airtight container in the fridge, and it will last up to a month when stored properly.
  3. Mango Lemonade Refreshing and deliciously tropical, mango lemonade is one of my favorite drinks ever. 🤩 You’re going to want a whole pitcher all to yourself, believe you me! Plus, you can file this one under “easy mango recipes” because literally, anyone can make this drink. Mango lemonade goes well with just about any dish. Personally, I love to sip some while enjoying some baked plantain chips, and it also pairs beautifully with a suya sandwich or spicy shrimp spinach pasta! Keep mango lemonade in an airtight container in the fridge. It will keep for up to a week.
  4. Banana Mango Muffin This recipe is my new favorite banana bread and one of the best mango recipes of all time if you ask me. These babies are moist, tasty, and fluffy. Plus, you can whip these beauties up in no time at all.  I love to enjoy these muffins in the morning for breakfast. Serve them up with ginger tea or a chai tea latte for maximum enjoyment. 😋 Store these banana mango muffins in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Heat them up in the toaster oven before indulging if you’d like.
  5. No Bake Key Lime Mango Coconut Cheesecake Pie All my favorite tropical flavors in the creamiest pie you ever tasted! This is one dessert you need in your life because it’s the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Take the tropical flavors to the next level by serving this pie with a pitcher of passion fruit juice. And if you feel like a little “extra,” make some homemade whipped cream to top this already heavenly cheesecake pie. Keep this key lime mango coconut cheesecake pie covered and refrigerated after you make it. It will stay amazing in the fridge for up to 5 days. And yes, you can freeze it for 2 months.
  6. Mango Avocado Shrimp Salad and Mango Dressing Why limit yourself to mango in your salad when you can also top your salad with mango dressing? Did I mention it’s spicy mango dressing? Let me just say; this mango recipe makes for a real flavor explosion that is simply irresistible.  I love turning this tropical salad into a whole surf and turf meal. Serving it up with spicy grilled New York steak or Here is positively scrumptious.
  7. Mango Salsa Literally my favorite summer salsa, this recipe is vibrant, fresh, and easy to make! It’s one of my most versatile recipes too.  Serve mango salsa with grilled salmon or marinated pork chops. You could also fix some homemade tortilla chips and have them as a snack, and it’s also pretty delicious atop most salads.  Keep mango salsa in an airtight container in the fridge. It will stay fresh for up to a week, but believe me when I tell you it’s not going to last that long.
  8. White Sangria Whether you are hosting a dinner party or a barbecue, this drink is sure to please all your guests. This smooth mixture of fruit, rum, and white wine is absolutely divine. 😇 Fried shrimp, tostones, and sweet, sticky, spicy chicken all pair perfectly with a glass of white sangria. For special occasions, you can also pair it with beef dishes, like my beef tenderloin roast. Keep white sangria in the fridge in an airtight container. Consume within 3-5 days.
  9. Shrimp Ceviche When you need an impressive appetizer, shrimp ceviche is the answer. This recipe is zesty and vibrant, and the mangoes make it almost too pretty to eat. 😍 Enjoy ceviche with tortilla chips, plantain chips, or toasted baguettes. You can also fill large lettuce leaves with it to make tropical lettuce wraps.  Shrimp ceviche is best eaten the day you make it while it is super fresh. You can keep it in the fridge in an airtight container for 1-2 days, though, as long as it’s properly sealed.
  10. Tropical Fruit Salad Did someone say all the most delicious tropical fruits in a single dish? Count me in! This recipe is so perfect for breakfast, a light dessert, or even a snack.  Enjoy tropical fruit salad with a tropical drink like passion fruit juice. It’s also the perfect dessert after a hearty seafood meal like grilled shrimp kabobs or air fryer coconut shrimp. Cut-up fruit is best fresh, so I recommend eating this dish the day you make it. That said, it will stay fresh in the fridge for a day or two in an airtight container.
  11. Tropical Sangria Pineapple, papaya, guava juice, and mangoes make for a sangria like no other. I know you’re going to love this unique drink featuring Moscato and rum – it’s always a crowd-pleaser.  Tropical sangria goes well with grilled Caribbean coconut shrimp, broiled lobster tail, or any seafood dish. TBH though, it’s also great with pork chops or steak.  Keep tropical sangria in the fridge in a sealed pitcher or container. Finish it off within 3 days.
  12. Caribbean Coleslaw This salad is my favorite coleslaw ever! It’s light, fruity, sweet, and just plain delicious. Best of all, it’s a (tropical) breeze to make. 😜 Whenever I make grilled jerk chicken, I always make Caribbean coleslaw as a side. I’ll admit, it’s my favorite pairing, but believe me, friends, this coleslaw goes with just about any dish.  Coleslaw is crunchiest and has the best flavor when it’s fresh, if you ask me. However, this coleslaw will last in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
  13. Caribbean Pepper Sauce Say hello to your new favorite sauce. Homemade Caribbean pepper sauce is the most amazing combination of sweet and spicy flavors and one of the best mango recipes I’ve tried.  This sauce is so scrumptious you’ll want to put it on everything. I love it with jerk shrimp, fish like my Caribbean grilled whole red snapper, and air fryer chicken wings.  Keep your pepper sauce in an airtight container in the fridge so that it will stay good for a week or longer.
