This is the ULTIMATE decadent winter’s treat you simply must indulge yourself with, be it Christmas time or any time when the weather outside is frightful. I’m going to commit a festive sin and admit that I was never a big fan of Baileys Irish Cream liqueur. But one cold winter’s night, I went shopping and came home and needed warming up… and this just somehow happened. I made this Slow Cooker Baileys Hot Chocolate in a saucepan on the hob that night but have since tailored the recipe to make it in a slow cooker, because this way it gets ready on its own and stays warm for when the grown ups are ready to dive in, be it from a frosty walk or being served at a party. Of course, you can make it in a regular pan if you prefer though!
Why you’ll love this Baileys Hot Chocolate recipe
⭐️ An impressive, decadent drink to serve up or indulge in yourself ⭐️ Great way to use up Baileys ⭐️ Cooks slowly and stays warm until you’re ready But if you do want boozy but don’t like drink recipes with Baileys, you could try this recipe using amaretto, kahlua, Frangelico or rum instead. Reheat it on the hob when you’re ready to enjoy it again. This will burn some of the alcohol off so feel free to add more Baileys if you do!
