To make the best, most flavorful, and tender healthy baked Turkey Meatballs you need:

Ground turkey – white meat for the leanest meatballs, or a combination of white and dark meat Panko breadcrumbs – or your favorite gluten-free breadcrumbs Parmesan cheese – grated, not shredded Onion – shredded with a cheese grater Eggs – to bind the meatballs Worcestershire sauce – for rich, smoky flavor Seasonings – Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper

Feel free to change up the seasonings to compliment the meal you’re making! Use grated ginger for Asian-inspired flavor, include smoked paprika for a heartier taste, or any other spices you like.

How to Make Ground Turkey Meatballs

These low carb Turkey Meatballs are great to prepare in large batches. This recipe makes approximately 36 meatballs, and each serving is about 5-6 meatballs… So one batch is roughly 6 servings. Bake as many as you like to enjoy some now, some for lunches later in the week, and freeze the rest as a last-minute dinner option! Here’s how to make the tastiest Turkey Meatballs in under an hour: First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line two large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside. Set out a large mixing bowl and add all of the meatball ingredients. Use your hands to gently toss and mix until the ingredients are evenly dispersed, but not packed together. Keep your hands moist with a bit of water to help prevent the mixture from sticking to you. Now use a 2 tablespoon scoop to scoop the meatball mixture out into even portions. Gently roll each meatball in your damp hands until they are smooth and round. Place on the baking sheets.

How Long to Bake Turkey Meatballs

Bake the low carb Turkey Meatballs for 15 minutes, until firm. Then turn on the broiler and broil for only 1 or 2 minutes so that they become golden on top. Immediately remove from the oven. Pro Tip: You may need to broil the baking sheets one at a time. If desired, you can brush the healthy baked turkey meatballs with olive oil when they come out of the oven, so that they glisten. The oil also adds an extra oomph of juiciness to the meatballs. Serve warm or let cool completely before storing.
