Why will you love sliders?

Sliders are bite-sized, fun to make, and easier to hold and eat than a burger, and they make a unique dinner or appetizer for parties. They are portable and perfect for potlucks, picnics, etc. We make sliders, especially on game nights.  In this post, I have shared 2 of our favorite sliders that you can make for a Super Bowl party or any dinner party.

For potatoes in hot sauce slider -  I have paired potato in hot sauce with crunchy coleslaw, and sriracha mayo pressed between pillow soft buns. For breaded eggplant slider  - I have paired breaded eggplant with flavored marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese pressed between pillow sweet and soft bubs.

If you are looking for more slider options, then check Indian flavored sliders like dabeli and vada pav. You can also make pulled pork burgers or black bean burgers too.

Ingredients

Slider buns: Use good quality slider buns of your choice. I use Pepperidge Farm potato slider buns and sweet and soft buns. For potato in hot sauce slider: You will need loaded potato fries and mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, coleslaw, herbs, cabbage or lettuce leaves, and butter. For breaded eggplant slider: Cheese like mozzarella or provolone, pan-fried breaded eggplant, herbs, cabbage leaves or lettuce, and butter. Check the recipe card for full list of the ingredients.

Step-by-step instructions for party sliders

Potatoes in hot sauce sliders

Split and toast the buns with some butter; mix mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Assemble the slider - spread sriracha mayo sauce on both halves of the buns, place the cabbage leaves,  loaded potatoes, coleslaw, some coriander leaves, and spring onions on one side of the bun and then add the top bun and serve.

Eggplant cheese sliders

Split and toast the buns with some butter. Assemble the slider - spread the pasta sauce on both bun halves. On one half of the bun, place the cabbage leaves, stack a breaded eggplant, and top it with some flavored pasta sauce. Place another eggplant and top it with some more sauce and a slice of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the assembling process with all the buns and place them on the baking sheet.  Turn your broiler to high and broil these for a couple of minutes or until the cheese melts.  Now top each one with the top half of the buns and serve.

Tips

Feel free to use any slider buns from the brand of your choice. Add all the ingredients as per your liking.
