How to Make Strawberry Butter

Mix the Ingredients

Puree – Add the strawberries to a small food processor and puree to the desired texture, or use a fork and mash them by hand. (Photos 1-2) Combine – Place the butter, sugar, and ½ of the pureed strawberries in a medium bowl. Mix all the ingredients with a hand-held mixer until thoroughly blended. (Photo 3) Taste Test – Adjust your strawberry butter (if needed) to the desired texture with more powdered sugar or pureed strawberries. (If using honey, adjust the quantity to taste as it is sweeter than powdered sugar.) (Photo 4)

Chill and Serve

Store – Transfer the strawberry butter to a serving dish or mold. Chill – Refrigerate it for at least an hour so the flavors meld and the butter firms up.  Serve – Let it soften at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
